Restoran Kuhinja
On Vojvode Stepe Street, which is slowly but surely turning into a boulevard, three tram stops from Autokomanda and across from the Twelfth Belgrade Gymnasium, you will find Kuhinja. Not so long ago, that same spot was the Vardar kafana - old, they say, good, and beloved in the neighborhood. People come here to eat well and generously for reasonable money. The principle is simple and successful: you come, you eat, you leave. Kuhinja is a new old kafana. It reopened in a new look and under a new name in November 2005. A glance at the menu, dishes, and prices reveals part of the secret of this modern kafana's successful business. The interior is decently modern and unobtrusive. Not too much money was spent on decoration that, after all, the guest would have to pay for. At Kuhinja, both the exterior and interior are clearly seen on the plate.
